pHRv1:DB on the way

Finally got the word I’ve been waiting for. After more frustrations (I noted some of the earlier onesĀ here), the promised graphic novel, “Phantacea Revisited 1: The Damnation Brigade”, has not only found a format and a probable printer, I’m expecting a proof waiting in my mail slot when I return from holidays in mid-February.

All goes well it will be available from Phantacea Publications come end-February. Price will be around $16.00 CAD but it’ll be worth it. Tell you more as the release date approaches. In the meantime, one thing I can promise is that this won’t be the cover.

  1. have to say this is a stupid process. For one thing blog_me should be Pc Phant. (Yep, I’m back.). For another now I have to remember yet another password. That’ll be the day. Hopefully PC will do it for me. Anyhow, point of comment — where is this graphic novel of yours? Nothing more on website, either of them. Not even sure what to call it. pHRv1:Db strikes me as yet more nonsense. Wake up, publisher, or I’m going to start awesoming you again

    • I’d agree with you, Pc Phant or whatever your real name is, blog_me. While I was away — yep, I’m back too — Mephistopheles or one of his seriously unfunny minions stuck pHantaBlog in some sort of insidious loop. I was getting upwards to 200 or more comments everyday. Most of them were unutterable crap, though have to admit I gave up reading them after 2nd day.

Finally I had to make everyone register b4 commenting. Some people actually have, too, and I thank them; though you’re the first one to post. Full story, sort of, is on the pHantacea on pHacebook page (https://www.facebook.com/phantacea). Look for Raven’s Head graphic.

As for the graphic novel, go with “Damnation Brigade”, that’s the easiest. Strictly speaking it’s “Phantacea Revisited 1: The Damnation Brigade”.hence pHRv1:DB. It’s ISBN is 978-0-9878683-4-3 if that’s how you google up your orders.

That it’s not available as of today may be due to this latest USA madness called sequestering. In other words, it seems to be held up at American customs, which may not have any employees left by now. Has been since 21 Jan according to printer. Soon, though. Any day now. Could be tomorrow. Don’t give up hope. I haven’t. Yet.

      • A week has passed and I swear it’s gotten worse. Not only did I forget my password, as predicted, I got a request to update my personal information. As if! Bad enough the password my PC remembered was already obsolete but now I click over to an update personal info. Hole thing has got me so upset I forgot what I was going to blog.

        • Note to self: spend some more time on blog. Response to self: get Nuke Drags finished first. And monetize websites such that Phantacea Publications can start taking credit cards and mailing out books directly, instead of relying on third parties like amazon and Ingram to do it for you. Reply to response: Might need to clone self b4 any of above. Make that a priority, phantajim.

          • So now password works again. This time I emailed it me so I won’t forget. As for what I was going to blog earlier, that I can’t recollect. But I’m pretty sure it’s the amount of generalized crap you allow on your site. Do something specific to Phantacea and I’ll come back again. Provided I haven’t lost email.

  2. Other folks looking at your blog post and also the remarks note that you’re responding for you to remarks too. Responding for you to remarks is the vital thing for you to debate and you have for you to lead by simply example and reply towards the remarks to encourage other folks to answer too.
