Welcome to pHantaJim’s pHantaBlog

The latest in a long line of projects related to Jim McPherson’s Phantacea Mythos, comments are welcome on the pHantaBlog page and after every posting. Please try to keep on topic with the lynx you provide as well as the responses you make.

Further to that, pHantaBlog does not publish even close to every comment received. In other words, while compliments are always appreciated that does not mean they’ll see the light of day on computers connected to pHantaBlog.

I’m looking for postings that further the conversation, not lynx to shoe or clothing sites. Also just by the way, I’ve classified this site as PG 13+. Consequently, if only out of respect for my own delicate sensibilities, when you contribute to the blogs please do not use suchlike controversial words or terms as ‘awesome’ or any variations of OMG inappropriately.

It’d be an omnishambles if you tried and, besides, they won’t get posted.

Business card for Phantacea Publications, prepared by Jim McPherson, 2008

Anheroic Fantasy since 1977

Re the Phantacea business card, the head on the left is of the Hidden Continent of Sedon’s Head. Also known as the Inner Earth or, less contentiously, the Hidden Headworld, much of the action recounted in Jim McPherson’s Phantacea Mythos takes place there.

The head on the right is actually an aerial shot of a parking lot on the Giza Plateau taken by the Egyptian air force circa 1930. I snapped it in an Old Kingdom room in the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities off Cairo’s Tahrir Square in September 2000.

For more on said head, download Mythos Mag, get hold of “The War of the Apocalyptics” and read its Afterword, or hit here and do it online for free.
